Setup and Installation

- Step 2: Install Wall Plate
Locate the desired mounting position on your wall. Use a stud finder to identify wood studs if installing on a wood stud wall. Mark the drilling points using the provided paper template and a pencil. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. Secure the wall plate assembly to the wall using the lag bolts and washers. Ensure the wall plate is level using the included bubble level before fully tightening the bolts.

- Step 3: Hang TV on Wall Plate
With assistance, carefully lift the TV and hook the TV brackets onto the wall plate. Ensure the brackets are properly seated on the wall plate's hooks. Secure the TV to the mount by tightening the safety screws located on the bottom of the TV brackets. After hanging, you can make minor adjustments for leveling.

Operating the Mount
The MD2380 mount offers full motion capabilities for an optimized viewing experience:
- Extension and Retraction: The mount can extend your TV up to 17.5 inches (44.5 cm) from the wall and retract it back to a slim 3.4 inches (8.6 cm). Gently pull or push the TV to achieve the desired distance.
- Tilt Adjustment: Tilt your TV up 5° and down 15° to reduce glare and find the perfect viewing angle. Loosen the tilt knobs on the TV brackets, adjust the angle, and then re-tighten the knobs to secure.
- Swivel Adjustment: Swivel your TV up to ±45° left or right, depending on TV size and wall position, to view from different seating positions. Gently push the TV to the desired swivel angle.
- Level Adjustment: A ±3° post-installation leveling adjustment allows for minor rotation of the TV to ensure it is perfectly horizontal after installation.
