3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning the Camera

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera body and screen. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals. If the lens gets wet or foggy, clean it gently as soon as possible.

3.2 Waterproofing Care

To maintain the camera's waterproof integrity (up to 8m / 26ft), ensure all compartment covers (battery, memory card, USB port) are securely closed before exposing the camera to water. After use in water, rinse the camera with fresh water and dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth. Do not open compartments until the camera is completely dry.

3.3 Storage

When not in use, store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove the battery if the camera will not be used for an extended period.
