4. Setup and Preparation
- Ensure Power is Off: Before applying the cleaner, always disconnect power from the electronic device or component you intend to clean. This prevents electrical shock and potential damage to the device.
- Ventilation: Work in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling vapors. If working indoors, open windows or use an exhaust fan.
- Protect Surroundings: Place a protective cloth or newspaper under the item being cleaned to catch any overspray or residue.
- Shake Can: Shake the can well before use to ensure proper mixing of contents.
5. Operating Instructions
- Attach Extension Tube: For precise application in hard-to-reach areas, attach the provided extension tube to the nozzle.
- Spray Application: Hold the can upright approximately 6-8 inches (15-20 cm) from the surface to be cleaned. Spray in short bursts, allowing the cleaner to flush away contaminants.
- Drying Time: The cleaner is designed to dry quickly. Allow sufficient time for the product to completely evaporate before re-applying power to the electronic device. This typically takes a few minutes, depending on ventilation and amount applied.
- Stubborn Contaminants: For heavily soiled areas, a second application may be necessary. For stubborn contaminants, a soft brush can be used to gently agitate the area while spraying.
6. Maintenance and Storage
- Nozzle Cleaning: If the nozzle becomes clogged, remove it and rinse with warm water. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching.
- Storage: Store the can in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Do not store at temperatures above 120°F (49°C).
- Disposal: Dispose of empty cans and any unused product in accordance with local environmental regulations. Do not puncture or incinerate cans, even when empty.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Product not spraying | Clogged nozzle or empty can. | Check if nozzle is clogged and clean if necessary. Replace can if empty. |
| Residue left after drying | Excessive application or very heavy contamination. | Ensure proper ventilation and allow more drying time. For heavy contamination, pre-clean with a brush or apply in multiple light coats. |
| Device not working after cleaning | Power not reconnected, or product not fully evaporated. | Ensure power is reconnected. Wait for complete evaporation before re-energizing. If issues persist, consult a qualified technician. |
