- Loosen the center column lock knob and fully remove the center column.
- Invert the center column and reinsert it into the tripod body from below.
- Tighten the center column lock knob to secure it. Your camera can now be mounted upside down for very low perspectives.
3. Enhancing Stability
For increased stability, especially in windy conditions or with heavy equipment, utilize the weight hook.
- Locate the hook at the bottom of the center column.
- Hang a camera bag or other suitable weight from this hook to lower the tripod's center of gravity and improve stability.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down the tripod with a soft, damp cloth after each use, especially if used in dusty, sandy, or wet environments. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Lubrication: Periodically check the leg locks and ball head for smooth operation. If necessary, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to moving parts, avoiding excessive application.
- Storage: Store the tripod in its carrying case in a dry, cool place to prevent dust accumulation and corrosion.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect all screws, knobs, and leg locks to ensure they are tight and functioning correctly.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Leg sections do not extend or retract smoothly. | Dirt, sand, or debris inside the leg sections; insufficient lubrication. | Clean leg sections thoroughly. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant if needed. Ensure twist-locks are fully loosened. |
| Ball head does not hold camera securely. | Main locking knob not tightened sufficiently; quick release plate not fully engaged. | Ensure the main sphere coarse adjustment knob is tightened firmly. Verify the quick release plate is correctly seated and locked into the clamp. |
| Tripod feels unstable. | Legs not fully extended or locked; uneven surface; heavy camera setup without added weight. | Ensure all leg sections are fully extended and twist-locks are tightened. Adjust leg angles for stability on uneven ground. Use the weight hook with additional weight. |
| Monopod conversion is difficult. | Leg or center column not fully unscrewed. | Ensure the designated leg and center column are completely unscrewed from the tripod body before attempting to combine them. |
