Controls and Components

The Philips SHB7250/00 headphones feature intuitive controls for easy management of your audio and calls:

  • Power Button: Used to turn the headphones on/off and initiate Bluetooth pairing.

Setup

Charging the Headphones

Before first use, fully charge your headphones. A full charge provides approximately 11 hours of music playback or talk time.

  1. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the Micro-USB port on the headphones.
  2. Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a powered USB port (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
  3. The LED indicator will illuminate during charging and turn off when charging is complete.

Bluetooth Pairing

The Philips SHB7250/00 headphones use Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless connectivity.

Initial Pairing (First Time Use)
  1. Ensure the headphones are turned off and fully charged.
  2. Press and hold the Power button until the LED indicator flashes blue and red alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, computer), turn on Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "Philips SHB7250" from the list of found devices.
  5. Once paired, the LED indicator will flash blue slowly.
NFC Pairing (Near Field Communication)

For quick pairing with NFC-enabled devices:

  1. Ensure NFC is enabled on your device and the headphones are in pairing mode or turned on.
  2. Tap the NFC area of your device against the NFC area on the left earcup of the headphones.
  3. Confirm the pairing request on your device.
Multi-Point Connection

The headphones support multi-point connectivity, allowing them to be connected to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. This enables seamless switching between devices, for example, listening to music on a tablet and answering calls from a smartphone.

  1. Pair the headphones with the first device as described above.
  2. Disconnect Bluetooth on the first device temporarily.
  3. Put the headphones back into pairing mode and pair with the second device.
  4. Reconnect Bluetooth on the first device. The headphones should now be connected to both.

Operating the Headphones

Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the Call button once.
  • Next Track: Press the 'Next' button.
  • Previous Track: Press the 'Previous' button.
  • Volume Up/Down: Press the 'VOL +' or 'VOL -' buttons.
  • Activate Digital Bass Boost: Press the dedicated Bass Boost button to enhance low frequencies. Press again to deactivate.

Making and Receiving Calls

  • Answer Call: Press the Call button once.
  • End Call: Press the Call button once during a call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Call button for 2 seconds.
  • Activate Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Now): Press and hold the Call button for 2 seconds when not on a call.

Wired Connection

You can use the supplied 3.5mm audio cable to connect the headphones directly to an audio source, even if the battery is depleted. Simply plug one end into the headphone's audio jack and the other into your device's audio output.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Wipe the headphones with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol, ammonia, benzene, or abrasives.
  • Do not immerse the headphones in water.

Storage

  • Store the headphones in a clean, dry place when not in use.
