1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your iLive Electronics Wireless Tailgate Party Speaker, Model ISB250B. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device and retain it for future reference.
The ISB250B is a portable wireless speaker designed for audio playback via Bluetooth, FM radio, USB, and auxiliary input. It features LED light effects and a built-in rechargeable battery for extended use.
2. Safety Information

- Use only attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Unplug this unit during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the unit has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire.

5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Battery
The speaker has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Before first use, fully charge the battery for approximately 5 hours.
- Connect the small end of the included Micro-USB to USB cable to the DC 5V input on the rear panel of the speaker.
- Connect the large end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The Charging Status indicator will illuminate during charging. It will turn off once the battery is fully charged.
A full charge provides approximately 5 hours of playback at 50% volume or 2 hours at 100% volume.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
To power on the speaker, rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise. To power off, rotate it counter-clockwise until it clicks.
6.2 Bluetooth Pairing
The speaker supports Bluetooth v5.0 with a wireless range of up to 60 feet.
- Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode if no other source is selected. The LED lights may flash to indicate pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "ISB250B" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the LED lights may change their pattern.
- You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.
6.3 FM Radio Operation
- Power on the speaker.
- Press the Source/LEDs button repeatedly until FM mode is selected.
- Press and hold the Play/Pause button to initiate an automatic scan for FM stations. The speaker will save all found stations.
- Use the Skip Forward and Skip Backward buttons to navigate between saved FM stations.
6.4 USB Playback
The USB port supports audio file playback from a USB flash drive.
- Insert a USB flash drive containing compatible audio files into the USB port on the rear panel.
- Press the Source/LEDs button repeatedly until USB mode is selected.
- The speaker will automatically begin playing audio from the USB drive.
- Use the Play/Pause, Skip Forward, and Skip Backward buttons to control playback.
6.5 Aux-in Connection
Connect external audio devices using the 3.5mm AUX IN port.
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX IN port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device.
- Press the Source/LEDs button repeatedly until AUX mode is selected.
- Control audio playback from your external device.
6.6 Microphone Input
The speaker features a microphone input for public address or karaoke.
- Connect a microphone (not included) to the Mic In jack on the rear panel.
- Adjust the microphone volume using the microphone's controls, if available, or the speaker's master volume.
6.7 LED Light Effects
The speaker includes integrated LED light effects to enhance the party atmosphere.
- Press the Source/LEDs button briefly to cycle through different LED light patterns or to turn them off.
6.8 Party Plus (Speaker Pairing)
You can pair two ISB250B speakers together for a larger stereo sound experience.
- Ensure both ISB250B speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the Play/Pause button until you hear a pairing tone.
- The two speakers will automatically connect to each other.
- Once connected, pair your Bluetooth device to the primary speaker as described in section 6.2. Audio will now play through both speakers.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
To clean the speaker, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
7.2 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the battery is partially charged before storage to maintain battery health.
8. Troubleshooting
