1. Introduction

The YONGNUO YN600L Pro LED Video Light is a high-performance lighting solution designed for professional photography and videography. It features 600 high-quality LED lamp beads with a fixed 5600K color temperature, providing consistent and bright illumination. 2. Safety Precautions

To ensure safe and optimal operation of your YONGNUO YN600L Pro LED Video Light, please observe the following safety guidelines:

• Do not look directly into the LED light when it is operating at high brightness to prevent eye strain or damage.
• Keep the device away from water, moisture, and high humidity environments. Do not operate with wet hands.

5. Setup

5.1 Power Supply Options

The YN600L Pro offers two power supply methods:

1. Battery Power (NP-F Series):

   Insert two compatible NP-F series lithium batteries (e.g., NP-F750, NP-F970) into the battery compartments on the rear panel. Ensure correct polarity. Batteries are not included and must be purchased separately.

2. External AC Adapter:

   Connect a 12V5A DC power adapter (not included) to the DC power input port on the rear panel. The light will automatically switch to external power when connected. Ensure the adapter meets the specified voltage and current requirements.

5.2 Mounting the Light

1. Handgrip Installation:

   Attach the included handgrip to the mounting screw located at the bottom of the light. Tighten securely for handheld operation.

2. Light Stand Mounting:

   The light features a standard 1/4-inch screw thread at the bottom, allowing it to be mounted onto most light stands or tripods. Secure the light firmly to prevent accidental detachment.

5.3 Installing Color Temperature Filters

The YN600L Pro comes with two CT filters (orange and white) to modify the light's color temperature or diffusion.

1. Slide the desired filter into the filter slots located on the sides of the LED panel.
2. Ensure the filter is securely seated and does not obstruct the barn doors' movement.
3. The orange filter can be used to warm the light, while the white filter provides diffusion.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

• Press the Power Button on the rear panel to turn the light on. The digital display will illuminate.
• Press the Power Button again to turn the light off.

6.2 Adjusting Brightness

• Rotate the Dimming Knob clockwise to increase brightness.
• Rotate the Dimming Knob counter-clockwise to decrease brightness.
• The current brightness level will be displayed on the digital screen.
• For fine-tuning, press the dimming knob once to switch to fine-tuning mode, allowing for smaller incremental adjustments. Press again to return to coarse adjustment.

6.3 Using the Remote Controller

The infrared remote controller allows for wireless control of the light.

• Point the remote controller towards the remote sensor on the rear panel of the light.
• Use the power button on the remote to turn the light on or off.
• Use the brightness adjustment buttons on the remote to increase or decrease the light intensity.
• The remote can also control multiple YONGNUO lights by setting them to different groups (refer to remote controller manual for detailed grouping instructions, if applicable).

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the light panel and housing with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, or solvents.
• Storage: When not in use, store the YN600L Pro in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: If using batteries, remove them if the light will not be used for an extended period. Store batteries separately in a cool, dry place.
• Ventilation: Ensure the cooling fan and ventilation slots remain clear of dust and debris to maintain optimal performance and prevent overheating.
