3. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Inspire 1:
- Battery Care: Regularly charge and discharge the intelligent flight battery to maintain its health. If the battery is not working, try fully charging and discharging it. Connect the battery to the charger and push the power button while connected to see if it starts. If not, connect the battery to the charger and wait for at least 10 minutes.
- Propeller Inspection: Before each flight, ensure all propellers and propeller locks are securely attached and free from damage. Replace any damaged propellers immediately.
- Gimbal and Camera: Keep the gimbal and camera lens clean and free from dust or debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the official DJI website for firmware updates for both the aircraft and the remote controller to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
4. Troubleshooting
Common issues and their solutions:
- Aircraft Not Powering On:
- Ensure the intelligent flight battery is fully charged.
- Try fully charging and discharging the battery.
- Connect the battery to the charger and push the power button while connected to see if it starts.
- Connect the battery to the charger and wait for at least 10 minutes.
- Insert the battery into the Inspire 1 and attempt to turn it on.
- Remote Controller Not Connecting:
Ensure both the aircraft and remote controller are powered on correctly. If they do not link, power both devices off and on again, and attempt to re-link them according to the quick start guide.
- Unstable Flight/Drifting:
Perform a compass calibration in an open area away from magnetic interference. Check propellers for damage or improper installation.
- No Live Video Feed:
Ensure your mobile device is correctly connected to the remote controller via USB and the DJI GO app is running. Check for any loose connections or app errors.
