Important Safety Information

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.

  • Read all instructions before using this fireplace.
  • Do not operate any fireplace with a damaged cord or plug, or if the fireplace has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect fireplace, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Connect to properly grounded outlets only.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the fireplace.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • This fireplace has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
  • Use this fireplace only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  • Always plug fireplaces directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
  • This fireplace is for indoor use only.

Setup and Installation

Unpacking

Carefully remove the fireplace and all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage. Ensure all parts listed in the 'Included Components' section are present.

Mounting Instructions

This electric fireplace is designed for wall-mounted installation. Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy and capable of supporting the unit's weight (approximately 60 pounds).

  1. Select a suitable location on a wall, away from curtains, furniture, and high-traffic areas.
  2. Using the fixing hanger and bracket, mark the desired mounting height and drill pilot holes.
  3. Securely attach the fixing hanger and bracket to the wall using the provided mounting hardware and plastic expansion.
  4. Carefully lift the fireplace and hook it onto the installed fixing hanger and bracket. Ensure it is level and securely seated.
  5. The power cord length is 71 inches. Plan your installation location to be within reach of a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

Plug the fireplace into a grounded 120V AC outlet. Use the power button on the remote control or the manual control panel to turn the unit on or off.

Remote Control Functions

The included remote control allows for convenient adjustment of all fireplace settings.

  • Power Button: Turns the fireplace on or off.
  • Heat Settings: Adjust between high (1500W), low (750W), or no heat.
  • Flame Color: Cycle through LED amber, blue, or a combination of both ("Fire and Ice") flame effects.
  • Dimmer: Adjust the brightness of the flame effects.
  • Speed: Control the speed of the flame movement.
  • Timer: Set an automatic shut-off time for the fireplace.

Flame Effects

The fireplace features realistic LED flame effects with multiple color options to suit your ambiance preferences.

Heating Function

The fireplace offers two heat settings (750W and 1500W) and a no-heat option. The heater is designed to warm rooms up to 400 square feet. Heat is emitted from the top vents of the unit.

Note: The fireplace produces a realistic flame effect, not real flames. The visual display of dancing flames creates a cozy and inviting ambiance.

Timer Function

Utilize the timer function to set the fireplace to automatically turn off after a specified duration, enhancing convenience and energy efficiency.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your electric fireplace, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning the exterior surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Glass Panel: Clean the glass panel with a soft, lint-free cloth and a glass cleaner. Do not use abrasive materials that could scratch the glass.
  • Dust Removal: Periodically vacuum or wipe dust from the air intake and exhaust vents to maintain proper airflow.
  • Storage: If storing the fireplace for an extended period, ensure it is clean, dry, and stored in a safe, protected location.

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your fireplace, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • No Power:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded outlet.
    • Check the circuit breaker for your home.
    • Verify the power button on the unit or remote is pressed.
  • No Heat:
    • Confirm the heat function is activated on the remote or control panel.
    • Check if the thermostat setting is higher than the ambient room temperature.
  • Flame Effect Not Working:
    • Ensure the flame effect button is pressed.
    • Adjust the dimmer and speed settings.
  • Remote Control Not Working:
    • Replace the batteries in the remote control (2 AA batteries required).
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the fireplace sensor.
