Introduction

The GermGuardian Pluggable UV-C Sanitizer and Deodorizer provides your home with fresher, cleaner air. This compact device is designed to reduce airborne bacteria, viruses, and volatile organic compounds using UV-C light. It also effectively reduces household odors caused by bacteria, pets, and cooking fumes.

Key features include:

  • Pluggable Air Sanitizer: Provides cleaner air and helps reduce airborne germs and household odors.
  • Compact Design: This 7-inch wall-pluggable sanitizer is ideal for small rooms such as kitchens, laundry rooms, bathrooms, or children's rooms.
  • Reduces Odors: Effectively reduces unwanted odors from pets, smoke, and cooking fumes.
  • Kills Germs: UV-C light helps kill airborne viruses such as influenza, staph, and rhinovirus, and works with Titanium Dioxide to reduce volatile organic compounds.
  • No Filter Replacement: Only a single GermGuardian UV-C light bulb (model LB1000) needs to be replaced every 10-12 months depending on use.

Setup

The Germ Guardian GG1100W is designed for easy setup. No assembly is required.

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the air sanitizer from its packaging.
  2. Choose Location: Select a standard wall outlet in a small room where air purification and odor reduction are desired, such as a bathroom, laundry room, or near a pet area. Ensure the outlet is suitable for dry indoor locations only.
  3. Plug In: Insert the air sanitizer directly into a standard 120V AC 60Hz wall outlet. The device is designed to be top-heavy, so it is recommended to plug it in with the blue light ring facing upwards to ensure a secure fit and prevent strain on the outlet.
