2. Safety Information

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.

  • Electrical Safety: Ensure the voltage matches your power supply. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug.
  • Cookware: Use only induction-compatible cookware. Non-magnetic pots and pans will not heat. The cooktop automatically detects suitable cookware.

4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the cooktop from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Position the cooktop on a flat, stable, and dry surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm of clear space around all sides for proper ventilation.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet meets the voltage requirements (230V).

  1. Power On/Off: Press the On/Standby button to turn the appliance on. The display will light up. Press again to turn off.
  2. Cookware Placement: Place an induction-compatible pot or pan centrally on the cooking zone. The cooktop will automatically detect the cookware. If no suitable cookware is detected, an error message may appear, and the unit will not heat.
  3. Setting Power Level: After placing cookware, use the Level buttons (+ / -) to select one of the 12 power levels. The power output ranges up to 2100 Watts.
  4. Setting Temperature: Alternatively, press the Temp button and then use the + / - buttons to set the desired temperature. The temperature can be adjusted from approximately 60°C to 240°C.
  5. Timer Function: Press the Timer button. Use the + / - buttons to set the cooking time, from 1 to 180 minutes in 1-minute intervals. Once the timer expires, the cooktop will automatically switch off.
  6. SmartControl: The SmartControl feature allows for precise cooking adjustments. Refer to the display for current settings.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your induction cooktop.

  • Before Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Ceramic Glass Surface: Wipe the ceramic glass surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a specialized ceramic hob cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
