Setup

1. Unpacking

  • Carefully remove the calculator and all accessories from the packaging.
  • Verify that all components are present: calculator unit, AC adapter, paper roll, and ink roller.

2. Power Connection

  • Connect the AC adapter to the DC IN jack on the calculator.
  • Plug the AC adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

3. Paper Roll Installation

  • Open the paper roll cover.
  • Place a new paper roll onto the paper holder, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom.
  • Insert the leading edge of the paper into the printer slot until it catches and feeds automatically.
  • Close the paper roll cover.

4. Ink Roller Replacement

  • Ensure the calculator is turned off.
  • Open the printer cover.
  • Remove the old ink roller by gently pulling it upwards.
  • Insert the new ink roller, ensuring it clicks into place.
  • Close the printer cover.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Calculations

  • Addition (+): Enter the first number, press +, enter the second number, press +.
  • Subtraction (-): Enter the first number, press -, enter the second number, press -.
  • Multiplication (x): Enter the first number, press x, enter the second number, press =.
  • Division (÷): Enter the first number, press ÷, enter the second number, press =.
  • Total (=): Press = to display the result of a calculation.
  • Clear Entry (CE/C): Press CE/C once to clear the last entered number. Press twice to clear the entire calculation.

2. Special Functions

  • Tax Calculation (TAX+, TAX-):
    - To add tax: Enter amount, press TAX+.
    - To subtract tax: Enter amount, press TAX-.
    - The tax rate can be set using the RATE SET switch.
  • Memory Functions (M+, M-, M*, M=):
    - M+: Adds the displayed value to memory.
    - M-: Subtracts the displayed value from memory.
    - M*: Recalls the memory content.
    - M=: Clears the memory content.
  • Non-Add Print (#/NO ADD): Press #/NO ADD to print a number (e.g., date, reference number) without including it in calculations.

3. Display and Print Settings

  • Decimal Selector (F, 0, 2, 3, 4, 6): Adjusts the number of decimal places for results. 'F' is floating decimal.
  • Rounding Selector (CUT, UP, 5/4): Determines how results are rounded.
    - CUT: Truncates decimal places.
    - UP: Rounds up.
    - 5/4: Rounds up if the next digit is 5 or greater.
  • Print/Non-Print Mode (PRINT ITEM): Toggles the printing function on or off.

Maintenance
