Assembly

The Shark HV322 Rocket Deluxe Pro is designed for easy assembly. Follow these steps to set up your vacuum:

1. Insert the wand into the floor nozzle until it clicks securely into place.
2. Insert the handheld vacuum into the top of the wand until it clicks securely into place.
3. Attach the accessory holder to the wand.
4. Store the Duster Crevice Tool and Pet Multi-Tool on the accessory holder.

Operating the Vacuum

Power and Settings

To operate your Shark HV322, plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The vacuum features a power switch with different settings for various floor types:

• Hard Floor Setting: Provides gentle suction and a slower brushroll speed, ideal for delicate hard floors.
• Carpet Setting: Offers powerful suction and a faster brushroll speed for deep cleaning carpets and rugs.

Cleaning Different Surfaces

For optimal cleaning, select the appropriate setting for your floor type. The lightweight design and swivel steering allow for easy navigation around furniture and obstacles.

Using as a Hand Vacuum

The Shark HV322 easily converts into a portable handheld vacuum for versatile cleaning tasks:

1. Press the wand release button to detach the handheld vacuum from the wand.
2. Attach desired accessories, such as the Pet Multi-Tool or Duster Crevice Tool, directly to the handheld vacuum.
3. Use the handheld unit for cleaning stairs, upholstery, car interiors, or reaching high areas.

Emptying the Dust Cup

Empty the dust cup after each use or when debris reaches the MAX fill line.

1. Hold the dust cup over a trash bin.
2. Press the dust cup release latch to open the bottom of the dust cup and empty contents.
3. Close the dust cup until it clicks securely.

Cleaning Filters

The vacuum uses foam and felt filters. Rinse filters with cold water only. Allow to air dry completely before reinstalling.

• Pre-Motor Filters (Foam & Felt): Clean every 3 months. Remove the dust cup, then pull out the foam and felt filters. Tap loose dirt off, then rinse.
• Post-Motor Filter: Clean once a year. Remove the filter cover, then pull out the filter. Tap loose dirt off, then rinse.

Brushroll Maintenance

Periodically check the brushroll for any hair, string, or debris that may be wrapped around it. Use scissors to carefully cut away any obstructions.
