2. Important Safety Instructions

4.1 Initial Cleaning

  3. Ensure the sealing ring is properly seated inside the lid.

4.2 Placement

  • Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper ventilation, especially above the steam release valve.

4.3 Power Connection

  • Insert the power cord into the power socket at the back of the main unit.
  • Plug the other end of the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (127V ~ 60Hz).

  • LED Display: Shows cooking time, pressure level, and program status.

5.2 Basic Operation Steps

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Place your ingredients and the required amount of liquid into the inner pot. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  2. Place Inner Pot: Insert the inner pot into the main unit.
  3. Close Lid: Place the lid on the cooker, align the arrow on the lid with the arrow on the main unit, and turn clockwise until it locks into place. Ensure the steam release handle is set to "Sealing".
  4. Select Program: Press the desired pre-set program button (e.g., "Rice", "Meat"). The display will show the default cooking time.
  5. Adjust Settings (Optional): Use the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the cooking time or pressure level if needed.
  6. Start Cooking: The cooker will automatically begin preheating. Once pressure is built, the cooking timer will start counting down.
  7. Pressure Release: Once cooking is complete, the cooker will beep. You can either allow for natural pressure release (NPR) or perform a quick pressure release (QPR) by carefully turning the steam release handle to "Venting". Always exercise caution when releasing steam.
  8. Open Lid: Once the float valve drops, indicating all pressure has been released, turn the lid counter-clockwise and lift to open.

6.1 Cleaning the Inner Pot

  • The stainless steel inner pot is dishwasher safe. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.

6.2 Cleaning the Lid and Sealing Ring

  • Remove the sealing ring from the lid after each use for thorough cleaning. Wash it with warm, soapy water.
  • Clean the lid, including the steam release valve and float valve, with a damp cloth. Ensure no food particles are blocking the valves.
  • The sealing ring is designed to be easily removable and cleanable.
