This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your sprayer to ensure safe and efficient use.

Safety Information

Always read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before using this product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or property damage.

  • Always wear appropriate protective clothing, including gloves and eye protection, when using this sprayer.
  • Never point the spray nozzle at yourself or others.
  • Keep the sprayer away from heat sources and open flames.
  • After use, rinse the sprayer thoroughly and allow it to dry before storing.
  • Never dispose of the sprayer in a fire or allow it to come into contact with extreme heat.
  • Do not use with flammable liquids, acids, or hot liquids.
  • Ensure the pressure relief valve is functioning correctly before each use.

Package Contents

Verify that all components are present before assembly.

  • 1.5 Gallon Sprayer Tank (HDPE)
  • Ergonomic Pump Handle
  • 14-inch Wand
  • Adjustable Nozzle
  • High Volume Flat Fan Nozzle
  • Low Volume Flat Fan Nozzle

Setup

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage that may have occurred during shipping. If any parts are damaged or missing, do not proceed with assembly or use; contact customer support.

2. Attaching the Wand and Hose

Connect the hose to the sprayer tank and the 14-inch wand. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks. The hose typically screws onto the tank outlet and the wand handle.

3. Attaching a Nozzle

Select the desired nozzle (adjustable, high volume flat fan, or low volume flat fan) and securely screw it onto the end of the wand. Do not overtighten.

Operating Instructions

1. Filling the Tank

  1. Unscrew the pump assembly from the tank by turning it counter-clockwise.
  2. Pour your chosen chemical (e.g., bleach) into the tank. The 1.5-gallon tank capacity allows for 1 gallon of bleach to be used safely, leaving room for proper pressurization. Do not overfill past the 1-gallon mark for bleach or other harsh chemicals.
  3. Ensure the funnel top is clear to prevent spills.
  4. Carefully re-insert the pump assembly and screw it clockwise until securely tightened.

2. Pressurizing the Sprayer

  1. With the pump assembly securely in place, grasp the pump handle.
  2. Pump the handle up and down repeatedly until resistance is felt and the tank is sufficiently pressurized. Approximately 10-20 strokes are usually sufficient, depending on the desired pressure.
  3. Do not over-pressurize. The pressure relief valve will activate if pressure exceeds safe limits.

3. Spraying

  1. Aim the nozzle at the target area.
  2. Depress the trigger on the wand handle to begin spraying.
  3. For continuous spraying, push the trigger forward into the lock-on position. Release by pulling the trigger back.

4. Releasing Pressure

After each use, or before opening the tank, it is crucial to release any remaining pressure. Pull the pressure relief valve (typically a small yellow knob on the pump assembly) upwards until all air has escaped. You will hear a hissing sound as the pressure is released.

Nozzle Selection

Your sprayer includes three interchangeable nozzles for various applications:

  • Adjustable Nozzle: Provides a versatile spray pattern, from a fine mist to a solid stream, by twisting the nozzle tip. Ideal for general-purpose spraying and reaching different distances.
  • High Volume Flat Fan Nozzle: Delivers a wide, even spray pattern suitable for covering large areas quickly, such as driveways or patios.
  • Low Volume Flat Fan Nozzle: Produces a narrower, more concentrated flat fan spray, useful for precise application or targeting specific areas.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning After Use

To prolong the life of your sprayer and prevent chemical residue buildup:

  1. Release all pressure from the tank.
  2. Empty any remaining chemical solution from the tank. Dispose of chemicals according to local regulations.
  3. Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water.
  4. Fill the tank with clean water, pressurize, and spray the water through the wand and nozzle to flush out any residue. Repeat several times.
  5. Clean the exterior of the sprayer with a damp cloth.

2. Storage

Store the sprayer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Ensure all pressure is released before storage. Store with the pump handle in the down position.
