1. Introduction

This charger is designed to efficiently and safely charge Greenworks 24V Lithium Ion batteries, specifically models 29842 and 29852. It is not compatible with Greenworks Enhanced 24V batteries. Please read this manual thoroughly before initial use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

2. Important Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
- Read all instructions: Before using the battery charger, read all instructions and cautionary markings on the charger, battery, and product using the battery.
- Charge only Greenworks 24V Lithium Ion batteries: Do not attempt to charge any other type of battery. Other batteries may burst, causing personal injury and damage.

5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the charger and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect the contents for any damage. Retain the packaging for future storage or shipping.
5.2 Connecting to Power
- Plug the AC power cord into the charger's power input port.
- Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a standard electrical outlet (120V AC, 60Hz).
- Once connected, the green "Power" LED indicator on the charger will illuminate, indicating that the charger is receiving power.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Charging a Battery
- Ensure the charger is plugged into a power outlet and the green "Power" LED is illuminated.
- Align the battery with the charger's slot, ensuring the battery is oriented correctly (upside down as shown in Image 4).
- Slide the battery firmly into the charger until it clicks into place.
- The "Charging" LED indicator will turn red, signifying that the battery is actively charging.
- Once the battery is fully charged, the "Fully Charged" LED indicator will turn green, and the "Charging" LED will turn off. The charger will automatically stop charging to prevent overcharging.
- To remove the battery, press the release clip on the back of the battery and slide it out of the charger.

6.2 LED Indicator Meanings

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning

7.2 Storage
Store the charger in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Disconnect the charger from the power outlet when not in use for extended periods. It is recommended to remove the battery from the charger once fully charged and store it separately.
