5.1 Pre-Cleaning Preparation
- Vacuum the area thoroughly to remove loose dirt and debris.

5.2 Carpet Cleaning (Upright Mode)
- Plug the machine into a grounded outlet.
- Press the power button to turn on the unit. The Heatwave Technology will begin to maintain water temperature.
- For a wet pass, hold down the spray trigger and make a slow forward and backward pass over the carpet.
- For a dry pass, release the spray trigger and make a slow forward and backward pass over the same area to suction up dirty water.
- Repeat passes until the suctioned water appears clean.
- The 12 rows of Dual Rotating PowerBrushes will agitate and clean the carpet fibers.

5.3 Spot Cleaning with Cleanshot
For heavy-duty spot cleaning, use the Cleanshot feature.
- Position the machine directly over the stain.
- Press the 'Cleanshot' button to deliver a concentrated stream of cleaning solution directly onto the spot.
- Allow the solution to penetrate for a few minutes, then proceed with normal wet and dry passes over the area.

5.4 Above-Floor Cleaning (Hose and Tools)
Attach the hose and specialized tools for cleaning upholstery, stairs, and hard-to-reach areas.
- Open the accessory hose door on the front of the machine.
- Insert the hose into the opening until it clicks.
- Attach the desired tool (Tough Stain Tool, Spraying Crevice Tool, or TurboBrush) to the end of the hose.
- Press the spray trigger on the tool to apply solution and scrub the surface.
- Release the trigger and use the tool to suction up the dirty water.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Emptying and Cleaning the Dirty Water Tank
- Turn off and unplug the machine.
- Remove the dirty water tank from the unit.
- Unlatch the tank lid and pour out the dirty water.

- The Hair & Debris Basket inside the dirty water tank should be emptied and rinsed.
- Replace the basket and lid, then reinsert the tank into the unit.

- Turn off and unplug the machine.
- The DuraStrength Nozzle is removable for easy maintenance. Detach it from the foot of the machine.

- Reattach the nozzle securely.
