Setup: Battery Installation

To install the batteries in your MAG-LITE ML300L flashlight, follow these steps:

  1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
  2. Insert two (2) D-cell batteries into the battery compartment with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight. Ensure correct polarity.
  3. Carefully screw the tail cap back on by turning it clockwise until it is securely tightened. Do not overtighten.

Operation

The MAG-LITE ML300L features a simple twist-head operation for on/off and beam adjustment.

  • To Turn On/Off: Rotate the head of the flashlight clockwise until the light turns on. To turn off, rotate the head counter-clockwise until the light extinguishes.
  • To Adjust Beam Focus: Continue rotating the head of the flashlight while it is on to adjust the beam from a wide floodlight to a concentrated spot beam.

Maintenance
