5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the radio.
  2. Open the compartment cover and insert the provided Lithium-ion rechargeable battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  4. To charge the battery, connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the radio's charging port and the larger end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  5. The LED display may indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes a few hours.

5.2. Powering On/Off

Press and hold the POWER button to turn the radio on or off.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Radio Operation (AM/FM PLL)

  1. Turn on the radio using the POWER button.
  2. Press the MP3/AM/FM button repeatedly to select either AM or FM radio mode.
  3. Automatic Tuning: Press and hold the MEM / IISCANN button to automatically scan for and store available stations. The radio can store up to 65 preset stations.
  4. Manual Tuning: Use the Previous / Next Track buttons to manually tune the frequency step by step.
  5. Direct Frequency Input: In radio mode, use the numeric keypad (0-9) to directly enter the desired frequency. Press ADJ to confirm.
  6. Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal FM reception. For AM, try rotating the unit for better signal.

6.2. USB/SD/MMC Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD/MMC card into the card slot.
  2. Press the MP3/AM/FM button until the display indicates MP3 mode. The radio will automatically detect and begin playing compatible audio files (MP3, WMA).
  3. Use the Previous / Next Track buttons to skip between tracks.
  4. Use the numeric keypad (0-9) to directly select a track number.
  5. Adjust the volume using the VOL- / VOL+ buttons.

6.3. Auxiliary Input

Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX input port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). The radio will automatically switch to AUX mode or you may need to select it via the MP3/AM/FM button.

6.4. Headphone Use

Plug 3.5mm headphones into the headphone output jack for private listening. The internal speaker will automatically mute.
