Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury, including the following:

Getting Started

Unpacking and Initial Setup

  1. Remove all packing materials, stickers, and plastic bands from the oven.
  2. Remove all literature and accessories from inside the oven.
  3. Wash all removable parts as instructed in the "Care and Cleaning" section.
  4. Select a level, non-flammable surface where the oven will be used, ensuring at least 4 inches of space on all sides and above the oven for proper ventilation.
  5. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

First Use

It is recommended to operate the oven for approximately 10 minutes on the highest temperature setting (450°F) in the Bake function before first use. This will burn off any manufacturing residues and eliminate any initial odors. A slight odor and smoke may be present during this process; this is normal and will dissipate.
