Operating Instructions

Basic Weighing

  1. Place the scale on a firm, flat, and level surface.
  2. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the scale. The display will show '888.88' and then '0.00' (or '0 lb 0 oz').
  3. Carefully place the item to be weighed onto the center of the scale platform.
  4. Read the weight displayed on the LCD screen.

Changing Units

To switch between measuring units (pounds, ounces, kilograms):

  • With the scale on, press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through the available units: lb (pounds), oz (ounces), and kg (kilograms).
  • The selected unit will be indicated on the display.

Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to weigh items in a container by subtracting the container's weight.

  1. Place the empty container on the scale platform.
  2. Press the TARE button. The display will reset to '0.00' (or '0 lb 0 oz'), effectively zeroing out the container's weight.
  3. Place the items to be weighed into the container. The display will now show only the net weight of the items.
