  2. Adjust the date: If in position 2, turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the desired date.
  3. Adjust the time: If in position 3, turn the crown to move the hour and minute hands to the correct time. Ensure to account for AM/PM if your watch has a 24-hour indicator or if setting the date.

4. Care and Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning Your Watch

To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stainless steel, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

4.2 Water Resistance

The Oceanaut OC0821 is water resistant up to 5 ATM (50 meters / 165 feet). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, showering, or washing hands. It is not suitable for diving, snorkeling, or high-impact water sports. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

4.3 Battery Replacement

This watch uses 1 Lithium Ion battery. When the watch stops or the second hand begins to jump erratically (indicating a low battery), it is time for a battery replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a professional watchmaker to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Watch is not running:
    • Ensure the crown is fully pushed into position 1.
    • The battery may need replacement. Refer to section 4.3.
  • Time or date is incorrect:
    • Refer to section 2.1 for instructions on setting the time and date.
  • Chronograph hands do not reset to zero:
    • This may indicate a need for calibration or service. Consult a professional watch technician.
