4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

4.2 Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a Lithium Metal battery. When the battery needs replacement, it is highly recommended to take your watch to an authorized Bulova service center or a qualified watchmaker. Improper battery replacement can damage the movement or compromise water resistance.

4.3 Water Resistance Checks

Although the watch is highly water resistant, seals can degrade over time. It is advisable to have the water resistance checked periodically (e.g., every 2-3 years) by an authorized service center, especially if the watch is frequently exposed to water.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Watch Not Running

  • Ensure the crown is fully pushed in to the normal operating position.
  • If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement. Refer to Section 4.2.

5.2 Incorrect Time or Date

  • Follow the instructions in Section 2.2 to reset the time and date.
  • If the time or date repeatedly becomes incorrect, there may be an internal issue requiring professional inspection.
