- Tweezers
- Model paints (acrylic or enamel, as desired)

Assembly Guide
Follow the numbered steps provided in the physical instruction sheets included with your kit. The general process involves:
- Part Preparation: Carefully remove parts from the sprues using sprue cutters or a hobby knife. Clean any excess plastic (flash) with a hobby knife or sandpaper.
- Dry Fitting: Before applying glue, dry-fit parts to ensure proper alignment and fit. This helps prevent errors and ensures a smooth assembly.
- Gluing: Apply a small amount of plastic cement to the joining surfaces. Hold parts firmly together until the glue sets. Allow adequate drying time before proceeding to the next step.
- Sub-Assemblies: Assemble smaller sections (e.g., turrets, superstructure, boats) first, then integrate them into the main hull.
- Hull Assembly: Join the hull halves (if applicable) and attach the deck sections. Ensure a strong, seamless bond.
- Detailing: Attach smaller detail parts such as railings, antennas, and weaponry.

Painting and Finishing
Painting your model enhances its realism and brings it to life. Consider the following steps:
- Cleaning: Before painting, wash all assembled parts with mild soap and water to remove any oils or dust. Allow to dry completely.
- Priming (Optional): Apply a thin, even coat of primer to ensure better paint adhesion and a uniform base color.
- Base Coats: Apply base colors according to historical references or your preferred scheme. Use thin, even coats to avoid obscuring fine details.
- Detail Painting: Paint smaller details, such as guns, lifeboats, and deck fittings, using fine brushes.
- Weathering (Optional): For a more realistic appearance, apply weathering effects like washes, dry-brushing, or pigments to simulate wear and tear.
- Decals: Apply decals as instructed in your kit. Use decal setting solutions for better adhesion and to conform to irregular surfaces.
- Clear Coat (Optional): A final clear matte or satin coat can protect the paint and decals, providing a uniform finish.

Maintenance and Display
To preserve the appearance and integrity of your finished model:
- Dusting: Regularly dust the model with a soft brush or compressed air to prevent accumulation.
- Handling: Handle the model carefully, avoiding delicate parts. Always hold it by the base or main hull.
- Display Environment: Display the model in a stable, dust-free environment, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity, which can cause paint fading or material degradation.
- Cleaning: Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used gently.

Troubleshooting Common Issues
- Parts not fitting: Ensure all sprue gates are cleanly removed and check for any flash. Dry-fit again. If necessary, gently sand or trim the mating surfaces.
- Gaps between parts: Use plastic filler putty to fill any noticeable gaps after gluing. Sand smooth once dry.
- Paint not adhering: Ensure parts are clean and free of oils. Consider using a primer before applying paint.
- Decals bubbling or silvering: Use decal setting solutions to help decals conform and eliminate air bubbles. Apply a gloss coat before decals and a matte coat after for best results.
