Infrared (IR) Illuminator:

The 1 Watt IR Illuminator enhances viewing in complete darkness. It is typically activated automatically in low light or can be manually controlled.

  • A higher FPS may result in a smoother image, while a lower FPS might be used in extremely low light to gather more light per frame.

Day and Night Use:

The monocular is designed for both day and night use with an integrated IR filter.

  • Day Use: The integrated IR filter prevents overexposure in bright conditions. The image will appear in full color.
  • Night Use: In low light or darkness, the device automatically switches to night vision mode (monochrome green or black and white) and the IR illuminator can be activated for enhanced visibility.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning Lenses: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Gently wipe the lens surfaces to remove dust or smudges. Do not use abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • Cleaning Body: Wipe the monocular's body with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using solvents or strong cleaning agents.
  • Storage: Store the monocular in its durable nylon carrying pouch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
