2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the clock from its packaging. It is recommended to retain the original packaging for future transport or storage.

2.2 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
  2. Insert two (2) D-size batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - terminals).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2.3 Time Setting

  1. Locate the time setting knob or wheel on the back of the clock.
  2. Rotate the knob to set the current time.
  3. The clock's hourly melody and motion sequence will synchronize with the set time after the first full hour cycle.

2.4 Mounting

This clock is designed for wall mounting.

  1. Select a suitable location on a sturdy wall, away from direct sunlight or extreme temperature changes.
  2. Use appropriate wall anchors and screws (not included) to securely hang the clock. Ensure the clock is level for optimal operation and aesthetic appeal.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Automatic Hourly Performance

Every hour on the hour, the clock's face will come to life, making a full rotation while visible gears move and one of the selected melodies plays. The pendulum near the bottom will also continuously rotate.

3.2 Melody Selection

Locate the melody selection switch, typically on the side or back of the clock. You can choose between three melody categories:

  • Popular Melodies: A collection of 12 well-known tunes.
  • Classic Melodies: A selection of 12 timeless classical pieces.
  • Christmas Songs: 6 festive holiday tunes.

3.3 Volume Control

Adjust the melody volume using the dedicated volume control knob or switch. Settings typically include High, Low, or Off.

3.4 On/Off Switch

Pressing the display button will activate the hourly performance on demand, outside of the regular hourly cycle.

3.6 Light Sensor

3.7 Thermometer and Hygrometer

The clock face includes integrated gauges for temperature (in Fahrenheit) and humidity (hygrometer). These provide general ambient room readings.

4. Maintenance
