3. Setup and Balancing

Proper balancing is crucial for effective stabilization. Follow these steps carefully:

3.1 Attaching Your Device

1. Identify the mounting screw on the top plate of the stabilizer.
2. For cameras/camcorders: Screw your device onto the mounting screw until secure. Ensure the rubberized, non-slip mounting surface provides a firm grip.
3. For smartphones: Attach the smartphone adapter to the mounting screw, then secure your smartphone within the adapter.
4. For GoPro: Attach the GoPro adapter to the mounting screw, then secure your GoPro camera.

3.2 Balancing the Stabilizer

The goal is to achieve a perfectly balanced state where the stabilizer remains level regardless of its orientation.

1. Initial Balance: Hold the stabilizer by the foam-covered hand grip. Observe the built-in bubble level on the top plate.
2. Adjusting Horizontal Balance: Loosen the screws on the top plate that allow the camera platform to slide horizontally. Adjust the platform left or right until the bubble in the level is centered. Tighten the screws.
