2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
The P6LM1 light requires two "D" size batteries (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install them:
- Locate the battery compartment at the bottom of the light.
- Twist the bottom cap counter-clockwise to remove it.
- Insert two "D" batteries into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - terminals match the markings inside).
- Replace the bottom cap by twisting it clockwise until securely fastened.

2.2 Photocell Setting
The P6LM1 includes an optional photocell feature that allows the light to automatically activate at dusk and deactivate at dawn. To adjust this setting:
- With the bottom cap removed (as described in Battery Installation), locate the small switch inside the battery area.
- Set the switch to the desired mode:
- Day and Night (Always On): The light will flash continuously regardless of ambient light conditions.
- Automatic (Photocell Enabled): The light will automatically turn on when it gets dark and turn off when it is daylight.
- Once the setting is selected, replace the bottom cap.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Activating the Light
After battery installation and photocell setting, the light will begin flashing according to the selected mode. The P6LM1 flashes at approximately 180 single flashes per minute.

3.2 Mounting the Light
The P6LM1 features a strong magnetic base for secure and temporary mounting on various surfaces.
- Ensure the mounting surface is clean and free of debris to maximize magnetic adhesion.
- Place the magnetic base firmly onto any ferrous metal surface, such as vehicle bodies, metal posts, or equipment.
- To remove, simply pull the light away from the surface.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Replacement
The estimated battery life for the P6LM1 is over 2000 hours. When the light appears dim or stops flashing, it is time to replace the batteries. Refer to Section 2.1 for battery installation instructions.
4.2 Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance and visibility, keep the light's dome and base clean. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the plastic or electronic components.
4.3 Storage
When storing the light for extended periods, it is recommended to remove the "D" batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage to the device.
