Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To clean your Laser Pegs bricks and Power Block:
- Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not submerge the Power Block in water.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the plastic or electronic components.
2. Storage
When not in use, store the Laser Pegs set in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Disassemble complex models for easier storage and to prevent stress on connections. Remove batteries from the Power Block if the set will not be used for an extended period to prevent battery leakage.
Troubleshooting
Lights Not Working
- Check Batteries: Ensure 3 fresh AAA batteries are correctly installed in the Power Block with the correct polarity.
- Power Block On: Verify that the Power Block is switched on.
- Connections: Make sure all Laser Pegs are firmly connected to each other and to the Power Block. A loose connection can interrupt the circuit.
- Damaged Pegs: Inspect Laser Pegs for any visible damage. If a Laser Peg is damaged, it may not light up or transmit light to other connected pegs.
Bricks Not Connecting Properly
- Alignment: Ensure the studs and holes are perfectly aligned before pressing bricks together.
- Obstructions: Check for any small debris or foreign objects that might be preventing a secure connection.
