Initial Setup

1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the included rechargeable battery. Connect the camera to a USB power source (such as a computer or a USB wall adapter) using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

2. Inserting the Memory Card

The camera supports SD memory cards up to 32GB. Open the memory card slot cover, typically located on the side or bottom of the camera. Insert the SD card with the metal contacts facing the correct direction until it clicks into place. Close the cover securely.

3. Attaching the Wrist Strap

Attach the wrist strap to the designated loop on the camera body to prevent accidental drops.

4. Powering On the Camera

Press the ON/OFF button located on the top of the camera to power it on. The LCD screen will illuminate.

Shooting Modes

The mode dial on the top of the camera allows you to select various shooting modes:

Zoom Function

The AZ522 features a powerful 52x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. Use the zoom lever around the shutter button to adjust the focal length. Optical zoom provides superior image quality compared to digital zoom.

Video Recording

To record video, switch the mode dial to Movie Mode or press the dedicated video recording button (if available). The camera supports 1080p Full HD video recording at 30 frames per second. High-speed movie recording at 120fps is also available for slow-motion effects.

Image Stabilization

The camera incorporates both optical and digital image stabilization to reduce blur caused by camera shake, especially useful when using the long zoom or in low-light conditions.

Using the Flash
