5. Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off:

1. Place induction-compatible cookware with contents on the center of the cooktop.
2. Press the On/Off button to turn on the unit. The display will light up.
3. To turn off, press the On/Off button again.

Using Cook (Power) Mode:

1. After powering on, the unit typically defaults to Cook mode. If not, press the Mode button until 'Cook' is indicated.
2. Use the ◀ and ▶ buttons to adjust the power level (wattage). The cooktop offers various power settings up to 1650W.
3. Note on Low Power Settings: The lowest possible continuous power output is 700W. Lower settings (100W, 300W, 500W) are simulated by cycling the 700W output on and off. For example, 100W simulates 700W for 1 second, then off for 6 seconds; 300W simulates 700W for 3 seconds, then off for 4 seconds; 500W simulates 700W for 5 seconds, then off for 2 seconds.

Using Warm (Temperature) Mode:

1. Press the Mode button to switch to Temp mode. 'Temp' will be indicated on the display.
2. Use the ◀ and ▶ buttons to select one of the 13 Keep Warm temperature settings (100-120-140-160-180-190-210-230-250-280-300-350-390°F).
3. The cooktop will maintain the selected temperature by cycling the heating element on and off.

Timer Function:

1. While the cooktop is operating, press the Timer button.
2. Use the ◀ and ▶ buttons to set the desired cooking time, up to 9 hours and 59 minutes.
3. The timer will count down, and the cooktop will automatically turn off when the set time expires.

Control Lock:

1. To lock the control panel during operation, press the Lock button. This prevents accidental changes to settings.
2. To unlock, press and hold the Lock button again until the lock indicator disappears.
