4. Product Overview
4.1 Main Unit and Display
The main unit features a large, easy-to-read digital display that shows systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate. It includes a single START/STOP button for operation and indicators for irregular heartbeat detection and cuff wrap guide.

4.2 Arm Cuff
The universal arm cuff (22-42 cm) is designed for comfortable and accurate fit for a wide range of arm sizes. It connects to the main unit via an air tube.

5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
The Omron M300 operates on 4 AAA batteries.
- Open the battery cover located on the bottom or back of the main unit.
- Insert four AAA batteries according to the polarity markings (+/-) inside the battery compartment.
- Close the battery cover securely.
When the battery indicator appears on the display, replace all four batteries with new ones.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Preparing for Measurement
- Avoid eating, drinking alcohol, smoking, exercising, and bathing for 30 minutes before measurement.
- Rest for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement.
- Sit upright with your feet flat on the floor and your back supported.
- Place your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
6.2 Applying the Arm Cuff
- Insert the air plug into the air jack on the main unit.
- Wrap the cuff firmly around your upper left arm, approximately 1-2 cm above your elbow. Ensure the air tube runs down the center of your arm.
- The bottom edge of the cuff should be 1 to 2 cm above the elbow.
- Ensure the cuff is not too tight or too loose. The cuff wrap guide indicator on the display will confirm correct placement.
6.3 Taking a Measurement
- Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will begin to inflate automatically.
- Remain still and do not talk during the measurement.
- Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed.
- Press the START/STOP button again to turn off the unit. The unit will automatically turn off after 2 minutes of inactivity.
6.4 Understanding Your Results
- Systolic Pressure (SYS): The highest pressure when your heart beats.
- Diastolic Pressure (DIA): The lowest pressure when your heart rests between beats.
- Pulse: Your heart rate, measured in beats per minute.
- Irregular Heartbeat Detection: If an irregular heartbeat is detected more than twice during a measurement, the irregular heartbeat symbol will appear on the display. Consult your physician if this symbol appears frequently.
- Cuff Wrap Guide: This indicator confirms if the cuff is wrapped correctly. A correct wrap ensures accurate readings.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
- Clean the monitor and cuff with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive or volatile cleaners.
- Do not wash the cuff or immerse the monitor in water.
7.2 Storage
- Store the device in its storage case when not in use.
- Keep the device in a clean, safe location away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity.
