Setup and Assembly Instructions

Assembly requires careful attention. It is recommended to have two people for certain steps due to the weight of the base and the length of the arc pole.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
2. Assemble the Lampshade:
   • Unroll the fabric lampshade material.
   • Attach the fabric to the lampshade rings using the integrated Velcro strips. Ensure the fabric is taut and evenly distributed.
   • Secure the inner and outer rings to form the double drum shade.

3. Connect Pole Sections: Carefully screw the arc lamp pole sections together. Ensure each section is securely tightened. Applying a small amount of lubricant (e.g., WD-40) to the threads can assist in smooth assembly, as noted by some users.
4. Attach Pole to Marble Base:
   • Position the heavy marble base on a stable surface.
   • Carefully insert the bottom pole section into the designated hole in the marble base.
   • Secure the pole to the base using the provided screw and wrench from underneath the base. This step may require two people: one to hold the pole steady and another to tighten the screw.

5. Install the Lampshade:
   • Carefully attach the assembled lampshade to the lamp's socket assembly at the end of the arc.
   • Secure it by tightening the retaining ring around the socket.
6. Insert Light Bulb: Screw in a compatible GU24 bulb (max 100 watts) into the socket.
7. Adjust Height and Position: The lamp features a rotating nut on the arc pole to adjust the height and reach of the lampshade. Loosen the nut, adjust to the desired position, and then re-tighten securely.

8. Plug In: Connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet.

The Major-Q Arc Floor Lamp is designed for simple operation:

• Power On/Off: The lamp is equipped with a convenient foot switch located on the power cord. Press the switch to turn the lamp on or off.
• Dimming Function: If your model includes a dimming feature, repeatedly press the foot switch to cycle through different brightness levels or hold it down to smoothly adjust the light intensity.

Maintenance

• Cleaning:
  • Always unplug the lamp before cleaning.

• Bulb Replacement:
