Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Outlet does not power on/off manually. | No power to the outlet; incorrect wiring. | Check circuit breaker. Verify wiring connections are secure and correct (Line, Neutral, Ground). |
| Cannot include (pair) the outlet with Z-Wave gateway. | Gateway not in inclusion mode; outlet too far from gateway; interference. | Ensure gateway is in inclusion mode. Move outlet closer to gateway temporarily. Try excluding the device first, then re-including. |
| Outlet loses Z-Wave connection after power interruption. | Temporary network disruption. | The outlet is designed to automatically reconnect to the Z-Wave network after a power interruption. Allow a few minutes for it to re-establish connection. If it doesn't, try re-including it. |
| Z-Wave commands are delayed or unreliable. | Weak Z-Wave signal; too many hops; interference. | Ensure the outlet is within 100 feet of the Z-Wave controller or another Z-Wave device. Optimize your Z-Wave network by adding more repeaters. |
