Important Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury when using your ice maker, follow these basic precautions:
- Read all instructions before use.
- Do not touch the evaporator when the unit is making ice, as it may cause frostbite.
- Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
- Supervise children closely when the appliance is in use.
- Unplug the ice maker from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
- Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the unit. Maintain at least 15 cm of space on all sides.
- Use only potable water.
- Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.

Setup
Unpacking:
- Carefully remove all packaging materials.
- Check for any damage during transit. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.
- Remove all accessories (ice basket, ice scoop) from inside the unit.
Placement:
- Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Ensure there is at least 15 cm (6 inches) of clear space around the unit for proper ventilation.
- Do not place the unit near appliances that produce heat, such as ovens or radiators.
Initial Cleaning:
Before first use, it is recommended to clean the ice maker:
- Open the lid and remove the ice basket.
- Clean the interior with a soft cloth and warm water with a mild detergent.
- Rinse thoroughly and drain any remaining water through the drain plug (if available, otherwise wipe dry).
- Run the automatic cleaning cycle (refer to the 'Operating' section for details).
Operating Instructions
Making Ice:
- Ensure the unit is plugged into a grounded electrical outlet (220 Volts).
- Open the lid and remove the ice basket.
- Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
- Replace the ice basket and close the lid.
- Press the ON/OFF button to start the ice making cycle. The "ICE MAKING" indicator light will illuminate.
- The first batch of ice will be ready in approximately 9 minutes. Subsequent cycles will be faster.
- When the "ICE FULL" indicator light illuminates, the ice basket is full, and the unit will pause ice production. Remove ice to resume.
- When the "ADD WATER" indicator light illuminates, the water reservoir is low. Add more water to resume ice production.
- To stop ice production, press the ON/OFF button again.

Automatic Cleaning Function:
The Wëasy KW12 features an automatic cleaning function for convenience:
- Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
- Press and hold the CLEAN button for a few seconds to activate the cleaning cycle.
- The unit will circulate water to clean internal components. This cycle typically lasts several minutes.
- Once the cycle is complete, drain the water from the reservoir.
Maintenance
Regular Cleaning:
- Daily: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
- Weekly: Clean the water reservoir and ice basket with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Monthly: Perform the automatic cleaning cycle. For deeper cleaning, a solution of water and vinegar (10:1 ratio) can be used in the reservoir, followed by several rinses with clean water.
- Ensure the drain plug is opened to completely empty the water reservoir after cleaning.
Storage:
- If the ice maker will not be used for an extended period, drain all water from the reservoir.
- Clean the unit thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before storing.
- Store the appliance in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
