Setup
1. Initial Opening
Upon receiving your safe, it will be in a locked state. Use one of the provided emergency override keys to open the safe for the first time.
- Locate the keyhole, usually concealed behind the digital keypad cover or a small panel.
- Insert the emergency override key and turn it clockwise.
- While the key is turned, rotate the handle (if present) or pull the door open.
- Remove the key and store it in a secure location outside the safe.

2. Installing Batteries
The digital lock requires batteries to function. Batteries are not included.
- With the safe door open, locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the required number of AA batteries (typically 4), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
3. Setting Your Personal Digital Code
It is crucial to set your personal code immediately after installing batteries.
- With the safe door open, press the red or green reset button located on the inside of the door, near the hinges. You will hear a beep.
- On the keypad, enter your desired 3-8 digit code.
- Press the "E" or "#" button to confirm your new code. You will hear a confirmation beep.
- Test your new code several times with the door open before closing it. If the code works, the bolts should retract.
Important: Do not store the emergency override keys inside the safe. Keep them in a separate, secure location.
4. Mounting the Safe (Optional)
For added security, the safe can be mounted to a floor or wall using the pre-drilled holes and included hardware.
- Choose a suitable location for mounting.
- Open the safe door and locate the pre-drilled holes on the bottom or back panel.
- Position the safe and mark the drilling points on the surface.
- Drill pilot holes into the surface using an appropriate drill bit.
- Align the safe with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided bolts and washers.
- Ensure the safe is firmly attached and cannot be easily removed.

Operating Instructions
1. Opening the Safe with Your Digital Code
- Enter your 3-8 digit personal code on the keypad.
- Press the "E" or "#" button.
- If the code is correct, a green light will illuminate, and you will hear a beep. You have approximately 5 seconds to open the door.
- Rotate the handle (if present) or pull the door open.
If an incorrect code is entered, a red light will flash, and you will hear a warning sound. After three consecutive incorrect entries, the safe may enter a lockout period.
2. Opening the Safe with Emergency Override Key
In case of forgotten code, dead batteries, or electronic malfunction, use the emergency override key.
- Locate the keyhole (refer to "Initial Opening" in Setup).
- Insert the emergency override key and turn it clockwise.
- While the key is turned, rotate the handle (if present) or pull the door open.
3. Changing Your Digital Code
You can change your personal code at any time.
- Open the safe door.
- Press the red or green reset button on the inside of the door.
- Enter your new 3-8 digit code on the keypad.
- Press the "E" or "#" button to confirm.
- Test the new code with the door open before closing.
Maintenance
1. Battery Replacement
Replace batteries annually or when the low battery indicator (if present) illuminates, or if the keypad becomes unresponsive.
- Open the safe door using either the digital code or the emergency key.
- Locate and open the battery compartment.
- Remove old batteries and dispose of them properly.
- Insert new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment.
- Test the digital lock with your code.
2. Cleaning
Clean the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the scratch-resistant powder coat finish. The interior carpet can be vacuumed or wiped gently.

3. Key Management
Always keep your emergency override keys in a secure location away from the safe. Do not store them inside the safe. If keys are lost, contact customer support for assistance.
Troubleshooting
- Safe will not open with digital code:
- Ensure batteries are fresh and installed correctly. Replace if necessary.
- Verify you are entering the correct code.
- If multiple incorrect attempts were made, the safe may be in a lockout period. Wait a few minutes and try again.
- Use the emergency override key to open the safe.
- Keypad is unresponsive:
- Check battery power. Replace batteries.
- Ensure no debris is obstructing the buttons.
- Door does not close properly:
- Check for any obstructions preventing the door from fully closing.
- Ensure the locking bolts are fully extended when the door is closed and locked.
