Setup
1. Battery Installation
The digital lock requires 4 AA batteries (not included). To install:
- Open the safe using one of the emergency override keys.
- Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the safe door.
- Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
2. Setting Your Digital Code
To program your personal digital code:
- With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door, near the hinge. A yellow light will illuminate on the keypad.
- Enter your desired 3-8 digit code on the keypad.
- Press the "E" button to confirm. The yellow light will turn off, indicating the code is set.
- Test your new code with the door open before closing it.

3. Mounting the Safe
For enhanced security, the safe can be bolted to a floor or wall. Pre-drilled mounting holes are provided.
- Choose a suitable location for mounting.
- Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes inside the safe.
- Drill pilot holes appropriate for the mounting hardware and surface type.
- Secure the safe using the provided bolts and washers.

Operating the Safe
1. Opening with Digital Code
- Enter your programmed 3-8 digit code.
- Press the "E" button. A green light will illuminate, and you will hear a beep.
- Within 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the door.
2. Opening with Emergency Override Key
In case of forgotten code or battery depletion:
- Remove the small cover plate on the digital keypad to reveal the keyhole.
- Insert one of the emergency override keys and turn it counter-clockwise.
- Turn the main knob clockwise to open the door.
3. Closing and Locking
To secure the safe:
- Close the safe door firmly.
- Turn the knob counter-clockwise to engage the locking bolts. The safe will automatically lock.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries annually or when the low battery indicator appears (usually a red light or repeated beeps during operation).
- Key Care: Keep override keys clean and dry. Do not force them into the lock.
