Setup

1. Mounting the Unit

2. Power Connection

Connect the supplied AC/DC power adapter to the DC input jack on the unit and then plug it into a standard wall outlet. The unit will power on or enter standby mode.

3. Battery Backup (Optional)

For clock and preset memory retention during power outages, install 2 AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the unit's underside. Ensure correct polarity.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press the Power button () on the front panel or remote control to turn the unit on or off.

2. Setting the Clock

  1. With the unit in standby mode, press and hold the TIME SET button (refer to remote control for exact button).
  2. Use the SKIP/TUNE buttons (◀◀ / ▶▶) to adjust the hour. Press TIME SET again to confirm.
  3. Use the SKIP/TUNE buttons to adjust the minute. Press TIME SET to confirm and exit.

3. FM Radio Operation

  1. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until "FM" appears on the display.
  2. Manual Tuning: Press the SKIP/TUNE buttons (◀◀ / ▶▶) briefly to adjust the frequency in small increments.
  3. Auto Scan: Press and hold the SKIP/TUNE buttons to automatically scan for the next available station.
  4. Setting Presets:
    1. Tune to the desired station.
    2. Press the PROG button. The preset number will flash.
    3. Use the SKIP/TUNE buttons to select the desired preset number (1-20).
    4. Press PROG again to save the station.
  5. Recalling Presets: Press the PRESET +/- buttons to cycle through saved stations.

4. CD Player Operation

The unit supports standard audio CDs. It is not designed to play copied, burned, or duplicated CDs.

  1. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until "CD" appears on the display.
  2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button () to open the CD tray.
  3. Place an audio CD with the label side facing up into the tray.
  4. Press OPEN/CLOSE again to close the tray. The CD will begin playing automatically.
  5. Use the PLAY/PAUSE button ( / ██) to pause or resume playback.
  6. Use the SKIP/TUNE buttons (◀◀ / ▶▶) to skip tracks. Press and hold to fast forward or rewind.
  7. Press the STOP button () to stop playback.

5. Bluetooth Pairing and Streaming

  1. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until "BT" or "Bluetooth" appears on the display. The Bluetooth indicator will flash, indicating pairing mode.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
  3. Search for available devices and select "iKBC384S" from the list.
  4. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will glow solid. You can now stream audio wirelessly from your device to the iKBC384S.
  5. Use your connected device or the unit's PLAY/PAUSE and SKIP/TUNE buttons to control playback.

6. Kitchen Timer

  1. Press the TIMER button. The timer display will flash.
  2. Use the SKIP/TUNE buttons to set the desired countdown time (up to 99 minutes).
  3. Press TIMER again to start the countdown.
  4. An alarm will sound when the timer reaches zero. Press any button to stop the alarm.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • CD Care: Handle CDs by their edges. Keep them clean and free of scratches.
  • Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, remove the backup batteries.
