Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the rear of the clock.
2. Insert one (1) D Carbon-Zinc Battery, ensuring the polarity (+/-) matches the indicators inside the compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Setting the Time

1. Once the battery is installed, the clock will begin to operate.
2. To set the time, locate the adjustment knob on the right side of the clock.
3. Gently turn the knob clockwise to advance the time. The hour and minute flip cards will change accordingly.
4. Continue turning until the desired time is displayed. Note the AM/PM indicator.

Operating the Clock

The KABB DZ-3 Flip Clock operates continuously once the battery is installed and the time is set. The mechanical flip mechanism will automatically advance the hour and minute displays. The clock features a 12-hour AM/PM display format.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the clock, gently wipe the surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the finish and internal components.

Battery Replacement

Troubleshooting

• Clock not operating: Ensure the D Carbon-Zinc Battery is correctly installed with proper polarity and is not depleted. Replace the battery if necessary.
• Incorrect time display: Adjust the time using the knob on the side of the clock as described in the Setup section.
• Loud flipping sound: The mechanical nature of the flip clock produces an audible sound when the numbers change. This is a normal characteristic of the design.
• Flip cards not turning correctly: Check for any obstructions around the flip cards. Ensure the clock is placed on a stable, level surface. If the issue persists after checking the battery and obstructions, contact customer support.
