Package Contents
- 1 x SeKi Easy Plus Universal Remote Control (Model 311803)
- User Manual (this document)
- Note: Batteries (2 x AAA) are not included and must be purchased separately.
Setup and Programming
The SeKi Easy Plus remote control is a learning remote, meaning it copies functions directly from your original infrared remote control. An original, functional remote control is required for programming.
Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the SeKi Easy Plus remote.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Learning Function Programming
Follow these steps carefully to program each button on your SeKi Easy Plus remote:
- Preparation: Place the SeKi Easy Plus remote and your original remote control on a flat surface, facing each other. Ensure the infrared emitters (front ends) are aligned and approximately 2-5 cm apart.
- Enter Programming Mode: On the SeKi Easy Plus remote, press and hold the "AV" and "VOL-" buttons simultaneously for approximately 5 seconds. The red LED indicator on the SeKi remote will start to flash, indicating it has entered programming mode.
- Select Button to Program: Press the button on the SeKi Easy Plus remote that you wish to program (e.g., "1"). Press it once, do not hold it down. The red LED will illuminate steadily.
- Copy Function: On your original remote control, press the corresponding button (e.g., "1" for channel 1). Press it once, do not hold it down. The red LED on the SeKi remote will flash rapidly, then turn off, indicating successful copying.
- Repeat for Other Buttons: Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all other buttons you wish to program (e.g., Power, Volume Up/Down, Channel Up/Down, AV, etc.).
- Exit Programming Mode: Once all desired buttons are programmed, press and hold the "AV" and "VOL-" buttons on the SeKi Easy Plus remote again for 5 seconds until the red LED stops flashing and turns off. Alternatively, the remote will automatically exit programming mode after a few seconds of inactivity.

Important Notes:
- Ensure both remotes have fresh batteries for reliable signal transmission.
- Some original remotes may require a firmer or longer press to transmit the signal effectively.
- If a button does not program correctly, repeat the process for that specific button. Previously programmed buttons will retain their functions.
- The SeKi Easy Plus can learn from any infrared remote control, not exclusively the original TV remote. This includes universal remotes or even smartphone apps with IR blasters.
Operating Instructions
Once programmed, the SeKi Easy Plus remote operates like your original remote for the functions you have copied. Point the remote directly at your television or other device and press the desired button.
- Power (TV button): Turns your television on or off.
- Volume (+ / -): Adjusts the volume level.
- Channel (PRG ^ / V): Changes the television channel up or down.
- Mute (speaker icon): Mutes or unmutes the audio.
- AV: Switches between input sources (e.g., HDMI 1, AV, Component).
- Number Buttons (0-9): Directly select channels.
- TXT: Accesses Teletext (if supported by your TV).
- *: This button can be programmed for any additional function you require.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement
When the remote control's range decreases or buttons become unresponsive, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the "Setup and Programming" section.
- Always replace both AAA batteries at the same time.
- Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
- Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
Cleaning
To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive pads, or chemical solvents, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.
Troubleshooting
- Remote not responding:
- Check if the batteries are correctly inserted and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the device.
- Verify that the remote is pointed directly at the device's infrared receiver.
- Buttons not programming correctly:
- Ensure the original remote is functional and has fresh batteries.
- Make sure the remotes are positioned correctly (facing each other, 2-5 cm apart).
- Press buttons on both remotes once, firmly, and briefly. Avoid holding them down.
- Repeat the programming steps for the specific button that failed.
- Try programming in a room with subdued lighting to avoid interference from strong light sources.
- Limited range:
- Replace the batteries in the SeKi Easy Plus remote.
- Ensure the path to the device's IR receiver is clear.
- Remote enters programming mode unexpectedly:
- This can happen if the "AV" and "VOL-" buttons are accidentally pressed together for too long. Simply exit programming mode by pressing them again or waiting for it to time out.
