2. Safety Information

Note: A barb fitting for tubing connection is not included and must be acquired separately.

- Position the aerator above the water level to prevent water backflow into the unit.

- Attach the provided 5/8" ID 90-degree L tube connector to the air outlet of the HP-20. Secure it with the clamp.
- Connect your aeration tubing to the barb fitting (not included) on the L tube connector.
- For optimal performance and aerator life, use a medium bubble diffuser (3mm-5mm) at the end of your tubing in the water.
- Tubing Recommendations:
- For distances between 50-100 feet, use 1/2" ID tubing.
- For distances 100 feet or more, use 3/4" ID tubing.
4.3 Electrical Connection
- Plug the aerator into a grounded 110-120V AC electrical outlet.
- Ensure the electrical connection is protected from moisture.
- The HP-20 is UL rated for safety.

6. Maintenance
