Setup and Installation

Proper setup is crucial for the optimal performance and longevity of your EBC95 Bottle Cooler. Please follow these instructions carefully.

1. Unpacking

  • Carefully remove all packaging materials, including tape and protective films.
  • Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. Report any damage to your supplier immediately.
  • Retain packaging for future transport if needed.

2. Placement

  • Place the cooler on a strong, level surface capable of supporting its weight (approximately 428 lbs empty, plus contents).
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Maintain at least 6 inches of clearance from walls or other obstructions on all sides, especially the rear where the condenser is located.
  • Avoid direct sunlight or proximity to heat-generating equipment (ovens, stoves) to ensure efficient operation.
  • The unit dimensions are 95.13 inches (length) x 26.75 inches (width) x 33.75 inches (height). Plan your space accordingly.

3. Electrical Connection

  • The EBC95 operates on 115 Volts. Ensure the electrical supply matches the unit's requirements.
  • Connect the unit to a dedicated, grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.
  • The unit draws 2.5 Amps. Ensure the circuit can handle this load.

4. Initial Cleaning

  • Before first use, clean the interior and exterior surfaces with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  • Allow the unit to stand for at least 2 hours after moving before plugging it in to allow refrigerants to settle.

Operating Instructions

Once properly installed, operating your EBC95 Bottle Cooler is straightforward.

1. Power On

  • Plug the unit into the dedicated electrical outlet.
  • The unit will begin to cool automatically.

2. Temperature Control

  • The EBC95 is equipped with a digital temperature controller. Refer to the controller's specific instructions for setting the desired temperature.
  • Allow the unit to reach the set temperature before loading products. This may take several hours.

3. Loading Products

  • Load bottles and cans onto the wire shelves provided.
  • Do not block the air circulation vents inside the cooler, as this can impair cooling efficiency.
  • The unit features three swing solid doors for easy access to different compartments.

4. Cooling System

  • The EBC95 utilizes a Blizzard R290 cooling cartridge. This system is designed for efficient and rapid cooling.
  • Avoid frequent opening of the doors to maintain consistent internal temperatures and energy efficiency.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your EBC95 Bottle Cooler.

1. Daily Cleaning

  • Wipe down the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild cleaner.
  • Clean any spills inside the unit immediately to prevent odors and bacterial growth.

2. Condenser Coil Cleaning (Monthly/Quarterly)

  • Important: Disconnect power to the unit before cleaning the condenser coil.
  • The condenser coil is typically located at the rear or bottom of the unit.
  • Use a stiff brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust, dirt, and debris from the condenser fins. A clogged condenser reduces cooling efficiency and increases energy consumption.

3. Door Gasket Inspection (Monthly)

  • Inspect the door gaskets for cracks, tears, or signs of wear.
  • Clean gaskets with warm, soapy water. Ensure they form a tight seal when the doors are closed to prevent cold air loss.

4. Blizzard R290 Cooling Cartridge

  • The Blizzard R290 cartridge is designed for hassle-free replacement without on-site brazing.
  • If the cooling performance degrades significantly and other troubleshooting steps fail, consult a qualified technician for cartridge inspection or replacement.
