4.3 Electrical Connection

The electrical connection of this appliance must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with local regulations. The cooker requires a dedicated electrical supply. A wiring diagram is typically located on a sticker on the rear panel of the appliance. Ensure the correct connection for your household's electrical system (e.g., single-phase). The terminal block is robust and designed for secure connections. Connecting bridges for single-phase setup are usually included.

4.4 First Use

Before using the appliance for the first time, clean the hob and oven interior with a damp cloth. Heat the empty oven at maximum temperature for approximately 30 minutes to burn off any manufacturing residues. Ensure the room is well-ventilated during this process.

5. Operating the Ceramic Hob

The ceramic hob features four cooking zones with rapid heating. Each zone is controlled by a dedicated rotary knob on the control panel.

  1. Turning On/Off: Turn the respective knob clockwise to select a heat setting from 1 (low) to 9 (high). Turn counter-clockwise to the '0' position to switch off.
  2. Heat Settings: Adjust the knob to achieve the desired cooking intensity. Lower settings are suitable for simmering, while higher settings are for boiling and frying.
  3. Residual Heat Indicator: After use, the hob surface will remain hot. An indicator light will illuminate to warn you that a cooking zone is still hot, even after it has been switched off. Do not touch the hot surface.

6. Operating the Electric Oven and Grill

The 54-liter electric oven offers multiple cooking functions, including conventional heating, fan-assisted cooking, grilling, and a dedicated pizza function.

  1. Selecting Oven Function: Use the left-most rotary knob to select the desired cooking function (e.g., conventional heat, fan, grill, pizza).
  2. Setting Temperature: Use the central rotary knob to set the desired oven temperature. The temperature range is typically from 50°C to 250°C.
  3. Grill Function: For grilling, select the grill function and set the temperature. Position food on the appropriate shelf under the grill element. Always keep the oven door slightly ajar when using the grill, unless specified otherwise in the full manual.
  4. Multifunction Oven: The oven combines various heating elements (top, bottom, fan) to provide versatile cooking options. The fan ensures even heat distribution, ideal for baking multiple dishes simultaneously.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your cooker.

7.1 General Cleaning

  • Ceramic Hob: Clean the ceramic hob surface after each use once it has cooled down. Use a ceramic hob scraper for stubborn residues and a specialized ceramic hob cleaner for daily cleaning.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

7.2 Oven Cleaning

The oven features an easy-clean door and a self-cleaning function to simplify maintenance.

The oven is equipped with a self-cleaning feature (pyrolytic cleaning). This function heats the oven to a very high temperature, turning food residues into ash, which can then be easily wiped away with a damp cloth once the oven has cooled. The oven door locks during this process for safety.
