Setup
1. Power Supply
Your sewing machine can be powered by either the included DC 6V 1000mA adapter or 4 AA batteries (not included).
- Using the DC Adapter: Insert the adapter plug into the DC input jack located at the back of the machine. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
- Using Batteries: Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the machine. Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.

2. Bobbin Winding
Before you begin sewing, you need to wind thread onto a bobbin.
- Place a spool of thread onto the spool pin.
- Guide the thread through the bobbin winding tension disc.
- Place an empty bobbin onto the bobbin winder spindle.
- Wrap the thread around the bobbin a few times manually.
- Push the bobbin winder spindle to the right.
- Turn on the machine to start winding. The machine will automatically stop when the bobbin is full.
- Cut the thread and push the bobbin winder spindle back to the left.

3. Threading the Machine
Correct threading is crucial for proper stitch formation.
- Raise the presser foot and needle to their highest positions.
- Place a spool of thread on the spool pin.
- Guide the thread through the first thread guide.
- Pass the thread through the tension control dial.
- Thread the take-up lever from right to left.
- Guide the thread through the remaining thread guides down to the needle.
- Thread the needle from front to back. Pull about 6 inches of thread through the needle eye.
- Insert the wound bobbin into the bobbin case under the needle plate, ensuring the thread unwinds in the correct direction (usually counter-clockwise).
- Hold the upper thread and turn the handwheel towards you to lower and raise the needle, catching the bobbin thread. Pull both threads under the presser foot and towards the back of the machine.

Operating Instructions
1. Preparing to Sew
- Ensure the machine is properly threaded and the bobbin is correctly inserted.
- Place the fabric under the presser foot.
- Lower the presser foot using the presser foot lifter.
2. Starting to Sew
- Turn on the machine using the ON/OFF switch.
- Select your desired sewing speed using the SPEED button (slow or fast).
- Gently guide the fabric as the machine stitches. Do not pull or push the fabric forcefully.

3. Using the LED Light
The built-in LED light illuminates the sewing area, which is particularly useful when working with dark fabrics or in low-light conditions.
- The LED light is typically activated when the machine is turned on. Refer to the control panel for a dedicated light switch if available (often integrated with the ON/OFF switch).

4. Finishing a Seam
- Once you reach the end of your seam, turn off the machine.
- Raise the needle to its highest position and lift the presser foot.
- Pull the fabric gently towards the back, then cut the threads, leaving about 4-6 inches of tail.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sewing machine.
1. Cleaning
- Always unplug the machine or remove batteries before cleaning.
- Use a soft brush or lint brush to remove lint and dust from the bobbin area, feed dogs, and needle plate.
- Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
2. Oiling
This mini sewing machine is generally designed for low maintenance. Oiling is typically not required for basic models unless specified by the manufacturer. If the machine starts to run roughly, consult a professional or refer to specific oiling points if indicated in a more detailed manual.
3. Needle Replacement
- Replace bent or dull needles immediately to prevent skipped stitches or fabric damage.
- Loosen the needle clamp screw, remove the old needle, and insert a new needle with the flat side facing the back of the machine. Tighten the screw securely.
