Operating Your Vacuum Cleaner
- Power On/Off: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Press the power button on the canister unit to turn the vacuum on or off.
- Selecting Cleaning Mode: The handle of the extension wand features a slider switch to adjust suction for different surfaces. Slide it to the "Floor" setting for general floor cleaning or "Furniture" for reduced suction suitable for upholstery and delicate surfaces.
- Using the Floor Nozzle: For general cleaning of carpets and hard floors, attach the floor nozzle to the extension wand. The nozzle is designed to glide smoothly across various surfaces.
- Using the 2-in-1 Crevice Tool/Brush Attachment: This versatile tool can be used in two configurations:
- Crevice Tool: For reaching into tight spaces, corners, and between cushions. The brush bristles are retracted.
- Dusting Brush: To extend the brush bristles, press the side buttons on the tool. This is ideal for dusting furniture, blinds, and other delicate surfaces.
- Adjusting Suction: The vacuum features strong suction. If suction feels too strong for a particular surface, use the "Furniture" mode or slightly open the air vent on the hose handle to reduce suction.
