1. Introduction

The Amped Wireless BTSA1 Long Range Bluetooth Speaker Adapter allows you to wirelessly stream audio from any Bluetooth-enabled device to your speaker system. This manual provides instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your device.

Follow these steps to connect your Amped Wireless BTSA1 adapter to your speaker system and pair your device.

3.1 Connecting the Adapter

  1. Connect Power: Plug the provided power adapter into the "PWR" port on the back of the BTSA1 adapter and then into a wall outlet.
  2. Connect to Speaker System:
    • For RCA input: Use the included 3.5mm to RCA cable. Connect the RCA ends to the "AUDIO OUT" ports (red and white) on the back of the adapter and the 3.5mm end to your speaker system's auxiliary input.
    • For 3.5mm input: Use a standard 3.5mm audio cable (not included). Connect one end to the "LINE OUT" port on the back of the adapter and the other end to your speaker system's 3.5mm auxiliary input.

3.2 Pairing a Bluetooth Device

  1. Ensure the BTSA1 adapter is powered on. The "Connect" button on the front will illuminate.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), navigate to its Bluetooth settings.
  3. Enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "Amped Wireless BTSA1" from the list of found devices.
  5. Once connected, the indicator light on the adapter will change to confirm successful pairing.

4. Operating the Adapter

After successful pairing, you can begin streaming audio.

  1. Ensure your speaker system is turned on and set to the correct input source (AUX, RCA, etc.) where the BTSA1 is connected.
  2. Play audio from your Bluetooth-enabled device. The sound will now be transmitted wirelessly to your speaker system.
  3. Adjust volume using your Bluetooth device or your speaker system's controls.

Note: Only one device can be actively connected to the BTSA1 adapter at a time. To connect a different device, disconnect the currently paired device from its Bluetooth settings, then initiate pairing from the new device.

The Amped Wireless BTSA1 adapter requires minimal maintenance.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Amped Wireless BTSA1 adapter, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Adjust the volume on both your Bluetooth device and your speaker system.
Cannot pair Bluetooth device.
  • Ensure the adapter is in pairing mode (indicator light blinking). If not, press the "Connect" button.
  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is within range of the adapter.
  • Disconnect any other devices currently paired with the BTSA1.
  • Restart both your Bluetooth device and the BTSA1 adapter.
Poor sound quality or frequent disconnections.
  • Move your Bluetooth device closer to the adapter to improve signal strength.
  • Ensure there are no major obstructions (thick walls, large metal objects) between your device and the adapter.
  • Minimize interference from other wireless devices (Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones).
  • Test with a different audio source or Bluetooth device to isolate the problem.
