Setup

1. Battery Installation:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the side or bottom of the sewing machine.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 4 x 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). (Batteries are not included)
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Threading the Machine:

1. Place a thread spool onto the spool holder.
2. Guide the thread through the first thread guide on the machine.
3. Pass the thread through the tension control dial.
4. Thread the needle from front to back using the provided needle threader for assistance.
5. Pull approximately 10-15 cm of thread through the needle eye.

3. Preparing Fabric:

• Ensure the fabric is flat and free of wrinkles.
• Place the fabric under the presser foot, aligning the desired sewing line with the needle.

Operating Instructions

1. Starting to Sew:

1. Hold the fabric firmly with one hand.
2. Press the power button (usually located on the top or side) to start the machine. The needle will begin to move up and down.
3. Gently guide the fabric as the machine sews. Do not pull or push the fabric forcefully, let the machine feed it.

2. Stopping and Finishing a Seam:

1. Release the power button to stop the machine.
2. Lift the presser foot.
3. Carefully pull the fabric away from the machine, leaving enough thread to cut.
4. Cut the thread, leaving a tail of about 5 cm.

3. Adjusting Tension:

The machine features a tension control dial. If stitches appear too loose or too tight, adjust this dial incrementally until the stitch quality improves. Test on a scrap piece of fabric.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning:

• Always ensure the machine is turned off and batteries are removed before cleaning.
• Use a small brush or soft cloth to remove lint and dust from the needle area and under the presser foot.
• Do not use liquid cleaners or immerse the machine in water.

2. Storage:
