2. Safety Information

Always follow basic safety precautions when operating this generator to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

• Carbon Monoxide Hazard: Generators produce carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless, poisonous gas. Operate the generator outdoors in a well-ventilated area, far from windows, doors, and vents. Never operate indoors or in enclosed spaces.
• Electrical Safety: Do not operate the generator in wet conditions. Ensure all connections are secure and dry. Use only approved extension cords.

4. Setup

4.1 Adding Engine Oil

The generator is shipped without engine oil. It is crucial to add the correct amount and type of oil before first use.

2. Locate and remove the oil fill cap/dipstick.
3. Carefully pour the recommended engine oil (refer to specifications) into the oil fill opening until it reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
4. Securely replace the oil fill cap/dipstick.

4.2 Adding Fuel

Use only fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher.

1. Ensure the generator is off and cool.
2. Open the fuel tank cap.
3. Slowly pour gasoline into the fuel tank, being careful not to overfill. Leave a small air gap to allow for fuel expansion. The fuel tank capacity is 1.2 gallons.
4. Securely close the fuel tank cap. Wipe up any spilled fuel immediately.

4.3 Connecting the Battery (for Electric Start)

The generator includes a battery for electric start. Connect it before first use.

1. Locate the battery compartment (refer to your generator's specific diagram if needed).
2. Connect the positive (+) battery cable to the positive (+) terminal and the negative (-) battery cable to the negative (-) terminal. Ensure connections are tight.

5. Operation

5.1 Starting the Generator

Ensure the generator is on a level surface and in a well-ventilated outdoor area.

1. Turn the fuel valve to the "ON" position.
2. If the engine is cold, move the choke lever to the "CHOKE" position.
3. For Electric Start: Turn the ignition switch to the "START" position and hold until the engine starts. Release the switch once started.
4. For Manual Recoil Start: Firmly pull the recoil starter handle until the engine starts.
5. Once the engine starts, slowly move the choke lever to the "RUN" position.
6. Allow the generator to run for a few minutes to warm up before connecting electrical loads.

5.2 Connecting Electrical Devices

Connect devices only after the generator is running stably.

• Plug your electrical devices into the appropriate 120V AC, 12V DC, or USB outlets.
• Do not exceed the generator's rated running wattage (2600W) or peak wattage (2800W). Overloading will trip the circuit breaker or shut down the engine.
• For sensitive electronics, the inverter technology provides clean power.

5.3 Eco Mode Operation

Engage Eco Mode for improved fuel efficiency and reduced noise when running lighter loads.

• Flip the Eco Mode switch to the "ON" position. The engine speed will automatically adjust to match the load.
• For heavy loads or starting high-demand appliances, it is recommended to turn Eco Mode "OFF" to allow the engine to run at full speed.

5.4 Stopping the Generator

1. Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.

4. Turn the fuel valve to the "OFF" position for storage.

• Check Engine Oil: Check oil level before each use. Change oil after the first 20 hours of operation, then every 50-100 hours or annually.
• Air Filter: Inspect and clean the air filter every 50 hours or more frequently in dusty conditions. Replace if damaged.
• Spark Plug: Inspect and clean the spark plug every 100 hours. Replace if necessary.
• Fuel Filter: Inspect and clean or replace the fuel filter as needed.
• General Cleaning: Keep the generator clean and free of debris.

6.1 Storage

For extended storage, proper preparation is essential.

1. Drain the fuel tank and carburetor, or add a fuel stabilizer.
2. Change the engine oil.
3. Remove the spark plug and pour a small amount of engine oil into the cylinder. Pull the recoil starter a few times to distribute the oil, then reinstall the spark plug.
4. Clean the exterior of the generator.
5. Store in a clean, dry, well-ventilated area.
