Setup

Before first use, assemble the sprayer components according to the included diagrams. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.

  1. Attach the Hose and Wand: Connect the spray hose to the tank outlet and the wand to the hose handle. Tighten all connections firmly.
  2. Install the Pump Handle: Insert the pump handle into its designated slot on the side of the sprayer. The handle can be reversed for left- or right-handed use.
  3. Adjust Shoulder Straps: Place the sprayer on your back and adjust the padded shoulder straps, waist belt, and chest cinch strap for a comfortable and secure fit.
  4. Select Nozzle: Choose the appropriate nozzle (poly adjustable, high volume fan, or low volume fan) for your application and attach it to the end of the wand.

Filling the Tank

To fill the sprayer, unscrew the large cap on top of the tank. The tank opening includes a basket filter to prevent debris from entering. Pour your desired liquid (fertilizer, herbicide, etc.) into the tank, then add water if dilution is required, following the chemical product's instructions. Securely replace the cap.

Operating Instructions

  1. Pressurize the Tank: With the sprayer on your back, use the pump handle to build pressure in the tank. Pump the handle up and down several times until you feel resistance.
  2. Begin Spraying: Aim the wand at the target area. Squeeze the shut-off handle to begin spraying. The shut-off features a comfort grip and a lock for continuous spraying to reduce hand fatigue.
  3. Maintain Pressure: Continue to pump the handle periodically while spraying to maintain consistent pressure and spray pattern.
  4. Adjust Spray Pattern: If using the poly adjustable nozzle, twist the nozzle tip to change the spray pattern from a solid stream to a fine mist.
