4. Setup and Assembly

Before using your food processor, ensure all parts are correctly assembled. The appliance features a safety interlock system that prevents operation if components are not securely locked into place.

  1. Place the Motor Unit: Position the motor unit on a stable, flat, and dry surface. Ensure the suction feet are firmly attached to the countertop.
  2. Attach the Processing Bowl: Place the processing bowl onto the motor unit. Rotate the bowl clockwise until it clicks securely into position. You will feel a slight resistance and hear a click as the safety lock engages.
  3. Insert the Accessory: Depending on your task, insert the desired accessory (e.g., S-blade, kneading tool, emulsifying disk, or disc insert) onto the central shaft inside the bowl.
  4. Attach the Lid: Place the lid onto the processing bowl. Align the lid's tab with the slot on the bowl handle and rotate the lid clockwise until it locks into place. The safety lock button on the motor unit must be fully depressed by the bowl and lid for the appliance to operate.
  5. Insert the Pusher: Place the pusher into the feeder tube of the lid.

Important: The appliance will not switch on if the bowl and lid are not correctly assembled and locked. This is a safety feature to prevent accidents.

5. Operating Instructions

Your food processor offers two speed settings and a pulse function for versatile food preparation.

General Operation:

  1. Ensure the appliance is correctly assembled and plugged into a power outlet.
  2. Add ingredients to the processing bowl. For solid ingredients, use the feeder tube and pusher.
  3. Select the desired speed:
    • Speed 1: For lighter tasks, such as whisking eggs or mixing soft ingredients.
    • Speed 2: For heavier tasks, such as chopping hard vegetables, kneading dough, or blending thicker mixtures.
    • Pulse (P): For short bursts of power, ideal for controlling consistency, chopping ingredients coarsely, or for quick mixing. Turn the knob to 'P' and release.
  4. After processing, turn the control knob to '0' (Off) and unplug the appliance.
  5. Rotate the lid counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it, then carefully remove the processing bowl and accessory.

Specific Functions:

  • Chopping (Stainless Steel S-blade): Ideal for vegetables, fruits, nuts, and mincing meat. Use pulse for coarse chopping or speed 2 for finer results.
  • Kneading (Kneading Tool): Suitable for mixing dough for bread or pastries. The 1.5L bowl capacity allows for processing up to 500g of dough. Use speed 2.
  • Emulsifying (Emulsifying Disk): Perfect for whipping cream, egg whites, or making mayonnaise. Use speed 1 or 2.
  • Slicing/Shredding/Granulating (Disc Inserts): Insert the desired disc onto the shaft. Use the feeder tube and pusher to guide ingredients. For best results, apply even pressure with the pusher. Use speed 2.
